Stain protection
Nano Stain Protector (or as previously known Scotchguard) is applied following a professional deep cleaning. It coats up each and every fibre with an invisible UV resistant shield, repelling oil- and water-based stains.
With stain protection, spills are less likely to adhere to the inner cores of the fibers, making it easier to remove stains.
Although these specialist products are all referred to as being Stain protectors, it is not a guarantee that your carpet will not stain, it is more that it will help by resisting staining and make it much easier to rinse out stains by preventing full adhesion to the fibres, which improves the chances of successful stain removal.
When spills and accidents do occur, our customers have more time to get the spot up by blotting up excess liquid before it becomes a stain, if not fully removed by blotting the stain will be easier to get out by a professional carpet cleaner. Another benefit of stain protection is it will help keep general soiling away from the carpet fibers helping it to be more responsive to extraction cleaning, ensuring the carpet stays looking newer and fresher for longer.
If you have children or pets, or simply have carpeted heavy traffic areas such as a hallway and stairs, stain protector will help prolong the life of your carpets, avoid permanent staining and keep them looking beautifully clean.
Please note: Carpet protector is not able to block every stain or spill, but many of the most common spills are made far easier to clean up when it is applied.
